The inspiration for Stoneflow Gins is rooted in the incredible landscape of The Cradle of Humankind, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where early human ancestors once roamed.
It was here that we first experimented with slices of fresh Wild Cucumber as a garnish in a sundowner – and the idea of Stoneflow Gins was born.
Stoneflow was conceived and perfected amid the wonderfully diverse vegetation of the Cradle of Humankind, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where our earliest ancestors took their first steps. Its very name coming from the flowing rock formations within the caves across the area.
Drawing its flavours from the rich palette of indigenous bushveld botanicals, our unique gins were crafted to capture the essence of this African wilderness.

In 2021, we were honoured to receive Silver medals for our Bushwillow and Snuffbox gins, as well as receiving a Bronze for our Wild Cucumber gin.

In 2020, our Wild Cucumber gin tied for the highest scoring South African Gin and received a Silver Medal. Our Bronze medals for Bushwillow and Snuffbox made us the best performing gin brand from South Africa.
